ETL has a philosophy that products designed must have high manufacturability.
We focus on keeping our products simple in respect of component diversity and manufacturing processes. For instance, we try to use off-the-shelf components or to utilize common parts among models to reduce the diversity of components in inventory and to standardize handling and assembly operations. We also aim to simplify manufacturing processes that are time-consuming & labor-intensive to further smoothen the production flow and to minimize the manufacturing cost on each product.
Comprehensive design guidelines are followed to ensure products designed fulfill customers’ expectation, while achieving manufacturing efficiency. Aside from aesthetic considerations, our cross-functional team will consider products’ costing, mechanical & electronic construction, tooling design, injection limitations, ease of assembling, product durability and other aspects before putting a product into production.
All of these help us to improve production efficiency thus to lower manufacturing cost in order to provide our customers with the best valued product.
